We visited before lunch. Overall it was a wonderful experience. The place is well decorated and cheery. It’s fun. We ordered two sandwiches and the salad with chicken schnitzel. I tried all three. The bread was delicious with a nice crust, and springy crumb, … yummy. The sandwich ingredients were flavorful..very tasty. The chicken schnitzel was crispy and fried just right. Good portions and great all around. We had three desserts. My son had the Nutella gelato, I tried it. Rich and creamy. Very good. We also had the Ricotta cheesecake. My wife said it was excellent. I had the Maritozzo. It looked nice and I liked the taste. To me it was a slightly sweet roll filled with whipped cream. The only issue I had with it was the cost…$10. I would have loved it at $6 but not so much at $10. Maybe it’s labor intensive, not sure. Looking back I would have liked to have known the price before buying. Overall though, I think prices are fair. So a fun place to visit, good food and overall fair prices. Highly recommended!

So yummy! We got pizza at Vecchia, and then went to the cafe for gelato after. The pistachio and Dubai chocolate were delicious! I also got a box pastries which look so good. The music and atmosphere were perfect. The owners are so kind, and have an amazing attention to detail, and use delicious authentic Italian recipes!

Don't let the overly critical reviews scare you off, Vecchia Gelato is already a must go spot! Yes, the line was long and the staff may not be as knowledgeable as some people may expect, but the product is phenomenal and fresh. The gelato is dense and delicious. Their coffee is great, and the hot food options rock (plus hige portions )! This is the perfect lunch addition. As a community we have to give the team some grace while they find their rhythm, the quality of the desserts and coffee makes the short wait completely worthwhile. Go! Be patient but have fun!

Vecchia Gelato & Cafe is so delicious, chic, and aesthetically pleasing! I’m excited to try the Dubai chocolate panettone I bought there. The owner Chef Benard Tamburello recommended I pan fry it in some butter “like we do it in Italy”. He also graciously gifted me a pistachio muffin that I heated up per his instruction and it was unbelievable! I ordered the Polo Rustico sandwich which was fresh and full of flavor. I am usually not a fan of focaccia and was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. I also really enjoyed the french fries that were house made and in a really tasty, non-greasy oil. Lastly, the whipped cream in the Maritozzi was to die for! Not too sweet or too heavy. The bun was tender and soft even at 3:30pm.

We are so glad to have yall in the neighborhood! From the coffee, to the pastries, to the fresh cut fries, to the large sandwiches with fresh bread, to the gelatos, all of our food was great! Y’all have a proven business model in your success with Vecchia and will do great here with this Gelato/coffee joint. Everyone come support them! Every small business in a neighborhood deserves our support and patience!
